It is a pity that this effect was spoiled by the tragic short range of the field of view. Until now, I have rarely (and certainly not in cRPGs) admire landscapes resembling the African savannah. When entering the open area, we must take into account not only the dangers, but also the breathtaking views. The buildings here look like they were taken from a Ubisoft game. The second, the most extensive, offers us experiences reminiscent of the first Assassin’s Creed. The first and the smallest of them was intended only for a short prologue. It is divided into four climatically diverse islands (which are the setting for the action of subsequent chapters of the game). At least not at the beginning of our adventure. How is it in practice? Well, first of all, the world isn’t fully open. The pre-release announcements were very optimistic: it seemed that players used to the enormous terrains created by Bethesda, in the latest production of Reality Pump, would feel at home. The first hour of the game is a kind of tutorial – the heroes we meet teach us how to attack enemies, use magic, We can choose one of several available faces, eye color, height … and that was it. compared to those of Dragon Age, are really very modest. We start the game with creating a character. Of course, there are some understatements over time, although, in general, the plot fulfills its basic function. But there is something about this story that makes you think about it long after you put it down, it rains. If the above paragraph does not tell you too much, I have bad news for you – although the events are not directly related to those from the “number one”, the game quite strongly refers to them, which means that new players can feel here a bit lost. A moment later we meet a mysterious prophetess in order to finally be able to deal with saving my sister and the whole world. The idyll does not last long, however: finally an elite squad of orcs enters the castle, thanks to which, after a dramatic escape, we can again breathe fresh air. Free lands fall under the yoke of monstrous power every day. With each passing day, however, her life forces weaken, which is the reason why the magician keeps her brother alive – giving her the last of his energy. The woman, who is the incarnation of the god Aziraal, is for him a kind of “battery” – a source of power. Our hero and his sister Kyra are imprisoned by the magician Gandohar. The plot of Two Worlds II continues the threads started in the first part of the series. Of course, this time the promises of the creators were endless: a huge and fully open world, hundreds of hours of great fun, a wonderful audiovisual layer … Not this time my dear. Ultimately, while the game was full of all sorts of bugs, it had a fairly large fan base eagerly awaiting the sequel’s release. cRPG drawing on the Slavic culture, created by native developers, in addition with beautiful graphics – it was too good to be true. The first Two Worlds was supposed to be a kind of “Polish Oblivion”.
